I thought Kownacki absorbed some big shots against Helenius. His chin is just fine. It's just he eventually got caught properly. No one can take hard shots like that and Helenius hits hard enough.

Kownacki has not been in against many big punchers in his career. He thought he could absorb any shot and as a result had no defence ready.

knowacki is a fat out of shape bum! that's what you get for blocking punches with your face in the heavyweight division.

Peter was no longer in his prime when Helenius beat him bro. That said, he is still a dangerous fighter.

It was a WBA eliminator how on earth is that a "cherry pick gone wrong?" I swear people can't help but regurgitate all the little catchphrases they hear elsewhere in a lame attempt to appear witty.

Ruiz may be better than Kownacki, but mawoodhouse is right... both are fat slobs, an embarrassment to themselves and the sport. Ruiz himself has already said he needs to get his act together... change strategies. Hopefully he and Kownacki drop some lbs and get in shape for once. Potential fans see some flabby blimp in the ring... they laugh at the sport. I've actually seen that scenario. And BTW... I've seen less flabbzillas in MMA. So there you have it.

It was never iron. This was just a step up in comp vs a gatekeeper. Kow always blocked plenty of punches with his face. It was only a matter of time b4 what happened on saturday.

Ding dong went in there are all flailing away at a guy who has a decent punch, and an idea, and the ability, to still throw a shot at the right time, at least early in fights before he is dog tired, and he did look just about there. If some Valhalla resident hadn't been there throwing their cloak of invincibility on Bob, then/and/if Golota's 3rd cousin may have found a way outta the round, this article more than likely would have been about the close call of Golota's 3rd cousin and what can he do to improve his chances against the wunderkind AJ and can it be done in the 2 yrs before that fight would ever actually be made.
But I think many are ignoring, I think possibly on account of the fact that articles from fight night continually mention Adam having one the first three rds and his as usual high output, that he was still being caught cleanly with big right hand counters and was looking semi affected by them at times. Robert knew he had a real chance there, and knowing there is a real chance for yourself to win likely plays into how long you're willing to stay around looking for the big chance to win
