He's levels above them. But even then it just takes one shot. You can't have seen many worse cuts than Fury's against Wallin make it the distance?
He beats Wilder 4/5 I reckon.
The rest he's 9/10.
Except for Joshua. A boxer/puncher vs a boxer. Fury still isn't a puncher - even at that huge weight. I think, and have always thought, that AJ is all wrong for Fury. He's not good enough to bully AJ. He'll take too many shots. And if he stays outside he won't have the luxury of only taking a couple of shots like against Wilder - AJ will land more regularly.
That saves me typing everything I had in mind, thank you
He's one of my fave fighters but hes getting seriously overrated now after beating bum squad. Tbh I think of some of bum squads past opponents hadn't bought into the myth of wilder they would have got stuck into him and took him out too. He's far from unbeatable.
That’s an interesting take.
Can you list the best fighters, in your opinion, Fury has beaten?
For example name who are the top 3 in your opinion.
Ruiz was a huge upset - they happen. He gave him a lesson in the rematch. He showed that styles make fights, and he could adapt his style to one that Ruiz couldn't get near. It was the safe play. But rest assured, Joshua can ****. You don't need to have watched much boxing to know that.
I wouldn't compare Wilder's shots to Joshua's in a proper boxing match. Wilder has great power when he steps in, but his technique fails him going backwards. Joshua can hit - he has technique. And his hands are fast enough.
It would be a much better fight than Wilder.
Did he really give him a lesson in the rematch? To me, he fought wide eyed and scared, he wouldn't go anywhere near Ruiz and was literally running away from him. Now compare that to how Fury and Wilder handle rematches, they dominate, and TKO or make them quit.
Ruiz isn't a great boxer, he's short with tiny arms, Joshua shouldn't be losing to guys like that regardless of circumstances.
Joshua just doesn't have the skills to beat Tyson Fury, and i don't think he has the heart either. I'm not saying that he's a bad boxer, i think he's defo top 3, but Fury is just on another level to everyone else.
Wlad and wilder. Think way he beat chisora in 2nd figtt was pretty impressive too, he didn't land a glove on fury
But Wilder is a bum, according to your other post.
I didn’t request for you to mention the most popular names on Fury’s resume. I asked, in your opinion, the best 3 fighters he fought. Best, meaning they are the best in your eyes, great wins because he beat a pretty good boxer.
You called Wilder a bum, so you can’t count him. In your eyes. he is not good, he’s a bum. Bum boxers are below B level. A bum boxer is an easy win for anyone, usually used as a stepping stone fighter.
I completely disagree, i just finished watching last nights fights and couldn't help thinking that Fury is just levels above all these bums.
I don't agree at all as mentioned he's barely escaped losses twice, if he was stopped by Wallin on cuts no one would have complained and he was hurt badly against Wallin in Round 12. He was outboxed by Cunningham and decided to use his size and weight and was lucky to not be stopped immediately in Wilder 1 fight.
I think you are setting yourself up for a major disappointment if you put him on a pedestal because Widler if I'm honest with you isn't very good and never was that doesn't put you ahead of any one really. Wilder is a power puncher who was looked at as a joke by everyone until this ****** UK against US thing started in boxing. Michael Hunter is a much better skilled fighter than Wilder. When Wilder was supposed to go to Russia to fight Povetkin he would have lost to be honest.
