I'm more kinda trying to build up a library or research reference of upcoming talent that can be updated over time. A compilation of news, fight footage, training vids, analysis, whatever.

Is there any particular prospects or upcoming talents you would like to see a focus thread for?

I had been planning to get up focus threads for Yaqubov and Kurbanov before this evenings fights in Ekaterineburg, but it's not looking like I'll have time now. Chris Colbert and Lorenzo Simpson are planned as is Dychko, Dubois and Egerov and pretty much anyone else posters express an interest in. FWIW I'm also looking for volunteers to help out with this project if you're interested?
    Hear, hear!

i dont think people realise how deep the amateurs is...the guys who turn pro are the ones that made it through the tough am-ranks. always good to follow new blood and see how they progress - and i love seeing two pros face each other years after they fought each other in the ams or seeing common opponents face off against fighters and seeing how they all match up

Lemme see what I can do, man, David's a red hot prospect if ever there was one and whilst obviously there isn't yet much pro material to make a thread with that doesn't rally matter cos we can add to it as he progresses through his career.
I've got a few other threads planned already and finding time is hit and miss but I'll certainly aim to get him done in time for his next fight. And good catch BTW, I might well have overlooked him if you hadn't have mentioned it.

        Mmm.

TBH I hadn't really given much thought to Cojanu winning after seeing him flattened by Dubois and outclassed by Gorman, but experience has shown it'd be a fool who completely disregarded a fighter so I'll give his form another look over... which does of course lead me nicely into addressing the fact that I have thus far not included footage of either open workout or the weigh-in, which I will remedy now:

Poor man’s Wilder. He’s a career contender at best. Too slow, too mechanical and too upright. His chin is also suspect.

This man is in his 30s and you can’t make him faster than he’s. I’ve been saying from day 1 that I don’t see the hype way before he got exposed and I’m still saying the same thing.

Make no mistake about, this is guy is Furys worst nightmare and I doubt he will really get a shot ...
I could definitely see him.in against Usyk though, which would be a brutal KO of the Ukrainian.

All in all I'm impressed. He needs a bit of work arpund the edges, but he will be making some noise over the next 24 months

I'm planning on continuing this series of focus threads throughout the year for upcoming talent from everywhere on the globe, but it's more a repository of information than an opinion piece. I am leaning somewhat towards hyperbole cos I am hoping to get dudes a bit enthused about some of these guys - there's too many jaded mfers on NSB - but that's only part of what the threads are about.

Are there any of our British up and comers you'd like to see a focus thread on? Gonna be Dubois next I think, cos he's fighting next month but I'm looking for other suggestions too.
