Most boxing experts agree he was way too green at the time to be facing the #1 p4p fighter in the world. And for you to not be able to see that just confirms how much of a dic rider you are. it's not hard to see why when Boxing has 12 belts in each of it's 17 weight classes as the top fighters hardly ever fight each other while arguing over who is more popular.

Let's say the fight did 600 million in total revenue including gate and worldwide TV rights , ppv buys etc.

You realize the distributors take about half right off the top, right?

That leaves 300 million to be split 70/30. Then he has to pay his team. Floyd probably made about 150 before taxes. Connor probably about 60 to 70

Even the most ardent Khabib fans know he loses a boxing bout against any half-decent boxer, let alone Mayweather. Even Khabib knows it, and would be surprised if Khabib sold out like that into a fight he knew he couldn't win. Mcgregor's style at least held out a faint possibility of being able to box, Khabib no.

Who would pay to watch this ? If taking Khabib's grappling away, bit like tying Usain Bolts shoelaces together.

I've been watching and a fan of boxing since I was about 3, and I wont watch this with expectations of two top undefeated contenders battling for supremacy over a weight class, I'll watch for pure entertainment. Which I suspect millions of others will do.

Khabib choked Mcgregor out in the 4th - they only spent any significant time on their feet in the third where Mcgregor edged it, but most of the fight was on the ground where Khabib completely dominated.

Mcgregor is better in the striking dept, but Khabib is a different class on the ground. I think Mcgregor beats Khabib in a boxing match rather easily - that doesn't say he's a good boxer any more than the youtube guys, just has an edge on Khabib when they are on their feet.

Khabib only said he'd meet Mayweather if the last round was on MMA rules - if a pure boxing match, I can't see the entertainment as Khabib woudl be dominated the entire way. If the last round was MMA, for sure I'd watch to see if Khabib could survive the 9 rounds he would need to be able to take Mayweather apart in the last round.
