I agree with you, but it would be difficult for him to get back down to welterweight. Currently welterweight has the most big names.

Not welterweight, he means 160

Spence has said he would go to 160 for Canelo.

Crawford may be desperate enough to try it for the right price.


It's enough fights for Canelo with Charlo, Andrade, Benavidez, Smith, Bivol, Beterbiev, Plant, Muingia all being undefeated but a Canelo vs Spence fight is probably bigger than all of them.

If I had my way Canelo would fight Charlo, Benavidez, Smith in his next 3 after Saunders in any order. Then 175 for the bivol/Beterbiev winner for king of 175.

But instead we will get Golovkin, Murata, Muingia in his next 3 after saunders
