I'd love to say you're wrong but having seen Katie get the nod against Persoon at MSG it's hard not to see her getting favourable treatment over here. Only thing to say is that Amanda probably won't get paid like this for any other fight... but yeah, it'll definitely be an uphill struggle and to my mind it was a 60/40ish lean towards Taylor anyway.

Persoon fight definitely could / should have went the other way. Fights in Vegas can be equally contentious. Both have a serious chance to cash in on Katies fan base in the UK, why not? Especially at this stage of their careers.

two good combination punchers for the women's division. katie is fast but sometimes her combinations are repetitive like amir khan, so timing her is possible. amanda is more polished but she has been ducking, cherry picking and dodging her way through 7 divisions. close fight will probably go to taylor like the persoon fight. anyway, would love to see the winner fight cecilia at a catchweight.

That's the whole damn point -- Taylor did not beat Persoon, so she really should not be undisputed lightweight champion. Eddie didn't make the rematch because the next time, the judges might not cooperate in cooking the scorecards. In any event, this fraud gets ended on May 2nd.

If as Serrano says " it could have been a main event " why isn't it ?... the fact is NO promoter would take a chance to main event this fight , why ? .because they are not sure it can carry a show and this is why women get paid less .. Reality I'm afraid.. if women want and believe they are worth top money and billing get a female entrepreneur to underwrite any losses ..if Katie's popularity is not making it no ones will .. FACT
