Read again what the Bobfather actually says and break it down as to what is actually factual.
"Fury-Joshua is never going to happen". OK, if you say so.
"Pulev is going to knock Joshua out..." Riiiiight.
"...so why would I talk to Eddie, who I love dearly, about a Joshua-Fury fight?" So here his claim is that he has no reason to talk to Eddie about a Joshua/Fury fight because the Pulev/Joshua fight is a foregone conclusion. Anyone with any credulity can see from this that there is therefore no reason not to talk to Eddie about that fight.
The only reason not to talk to him is if the Pulev fight was a foregone conclusion. It isn't. Ergo, he has a reason to talk to him.
"Let’s make this crystal clear, I am co-promoter of Tyson and the other co-promoter is Frank Warren." An actual fact!
"I would not talk to Eddie about a fight without Frank’s participation." This is ambiguous. I think Arum is saying he would never formally talk to Eddie about a fight without Frank's participation. Eddie claimed they had chatted and were close to sitting down to make a deal. That is, they had talked informally and he believed they were close to entering into formal talks -- i.e. the one's that would require Frank's participation.
"Frank’s never even talked with Eddie." I think Eddie, Frank and Bob all agree on this. It's not mutually exclusive with Eddie talking informally with Bob to see how the land lies.
