When Fury signed with Arum, Arum said 'when he fights in America, we will promote him, when he fights in the UK, Frank will promote him'.
literally frank gets nothing for it...no co-promotional bs. After the wilder fight, Fury specifically thanked Arum, he didnt mention Frank Warren.

Everyone inc eddie hearn have insisted that Frank has litle to do with Fury's career now. Tyson has openly said he will never box in England again.

Arum also likes to throw shade on Eddie at every opportunity so he wouldnt exactly be honest and say 'yes me and eddie have talked' he will just say 'eddie is a liar' as it helps built that image against eddie whilst simultaneous keeping bitter bricktop happy.

Hearn has to really stop talking about other promoters fighters. Every promoter literally hates this man because he runs his mouth about their fighters and makes up shyt. Just talk about your business your own fighters and your fights. It seemed unrealistic that Arum or Fury's people would be talking and making a deal for a Joshua fight right now before they even finish up with a 3rd Wilder fight not only does it not make sense it's not in their best interest so no shock to me that Hearn was lying again. Let’s make this crystal clear, I am co-promoter of Tyson and the other co-promoter is Frank Warren. I would not talk to Eddie about a fight without Frank’s participation. Frank’s never even talked with Eddie.

First:
Eddie Hearn was trying to build demand for what could be the biggest fight in 30 years. Sure, everyone knows Wilder has the option but everyone also knows the numbers aren't there for an immediate 3rd fight.

Of course Wilder kicked in the rematch clause because if he didn't he would have no leverage and Haymon is smart, he's all about leverage.

If enough demand is generated there's more than enough to pay Wilder twice what he made in the rematch *just to step aside.* Eddie has been in contact with Saudi Arabia and Bob and there seems to be real interest. It still remains to be seen if Wilder will step aside for a mountain of unearned money but it's still possible, a long shot but possible.

Last piece of the puzzle is the most difficult:
The key is Wilder, Wilder is prideful and after his last showing he may not care about the money. Keep in mind, both Finkle and Haymon know that if Wilder loses it's over. It doesn't take a genius to know that a confidence fight, 20 million step aside and maybe a guarantee to fight the winner would bring in a Brinks truck full of money.
