Comments Thread For: Fury Coach: Wilder Should Forget Trilogy, Fight Andy Ruiz Next!

Former world champion Andy Lee, who serves as a co-trainer for WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, would advise Deontay Wilder to avoid an immediate trilogy bout. Last month at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Fury stopped Wilder in the seventh round to capture the WBC title.

Other than Wilder fanbois, no body wants to see a 3rd fight. Tyson is up 2-0 in everyone's, who knows boxing, book. Then again, i digress, there are those who want to see another assault and bodily harm done to Wilder.

Su****ious that Fury's father and his teammates don't want a 3rd fight to happen.

If Wilder is "easy prey," then surely they would want Fury to finish him now.

They don't want this fight, but they're not revealing the real reason.

They really don't want it, but they're not revealing the real reason.
because Wilder is a bum who lost to the only elite fighter he has ever faced (arguably twice)

Yes... Highly su****ious, highly! Why tf wouldn't Fury want to fight someone he's already beaten twice, for probably less money in total and that the general public aren't that interested in anymore?! It's almost as if the other option is to be involved in the BIGGEST fight in boxing right now. Very very odd!

What I just don't get is why Fury always seems to have issue when it comes to defending his title.

And at the same time they are claiming he is greatest HW champ ever. Lol. Fury is a great boxer but I question his mental capability regarding being a great champ.

What made the 90s so great was that the top guys at HW fought each other and defended their titles multiple times against the top guys.

Nowadays, all seem to be about statistics, being undefeated is has become the sole purpose of the game.

If Luiz Ortiz wanted to fight Wilder for the third time do you honestly believe Wilder would be excited and entertain the idea? In fact don’t even answer that question

Listen I understand Wilder wanting to run it back but don’t be dim in thinking Fury and his team wouldn’t prefer to be fighting in an undisputed bout for triple the money he will earn fighting Wilder

There is nothing su****ious about not fighting a dangerous puncher a third time when you have been into the lion's den already twice already came back victorious,
and when a much more interesting fight, huge payday and big prize wait for you in a Joshua bout.

You are as bout as smart as a box of rocks. Why would they want him to fight someone he's clearly beaten twice in a row. Time to move on. Joshua.
