Even if Whyte turns out around 245-250, he would use his reach to hit, clinch and press Povetkin down with his weight. Those old legs are going to feel the size and weight of Whyte and give up quickly. As for speed, even the most agile (think Haye or RJJ) caught up with age and Sasha is now 40. And he never was as agile as those guys to begin with.

Is "giving a tough time to a prospect" something to be proud of or something to be ashamed of? That prospect does not have a HW win against anyone ranked even top 20. Joshua absolutely hammered Povetkin while he was younger and so will Whyte. And do so quite easily.
Povetkin had no issues with Hughie Fury recently.

And Hunter was damn fast... in either case, Povetkin won that fight, particularly as the KD was not counted.

And in the AJ fight... Povetkin gave AJ plenty of issues... and Whyte is no AJ.

Wow. Are we really calling this a title defense?
