The performance had nothing to do with the costume

Costume was awkward, embarrassing, and ended up on the ground early in proceedings... For me that's a nice symmetry with Wilder's performance.

I'm much more inclined to believe Bud Crawford's comments regarding how nervous and anxious Wilder was in the dressing room before the fight. Anxiety will wear you out fast. Maybe Wilder can address that before the next fight and come in relaxed, but I still think he loses. Fury just has too much for him skillwise and he's a far more intelligent fighter. Wilder was outboxed by him in the first fight and out-brawled in the second. That's gotta play on your mind. Wilder's excuses are puerile and expose him as possessing a fragile ego.
Look at wilder's facial expressions and demeanor leading up to the opening bell. He was mentally defeated before the fight started. He was not focused. Not to take anything away from fury, fury was near perfect that night.

I have no doubt fury will put him away sooner and I expect wilder to come out swinging for the fences

I have re-watched the first fight abit, and Wilder seemed by far better in that fight.

I am not one of those people who state 'That Wilder cannot change or work on new things etc' It is just that this third fight is pretty much only afew months away.

Wilder just needs to get himself in immense condition, and tighten things up 'Maybe his courage and gameness could take him longer in the fight this time around'.

Note: There is not enough time for him to make any mistakes in preparation, if there is a sacrifice to me made 'He has to make it'.

I fear for Wilder's safety in the third fight. if Wilder fights anybody else, including Joshua, it will be give and take, he'll always be in the fight and inflicting damage, discouraging his opponent from attacking, but not with Fury, as Fury on every level is just too good, too smart. There's always that slight chance with Wilder's power, but I don't see him landing the one shot KO punch against a fully fit Fury. People are too quick to think that Joshua can do what Fury did, but he can't. He's not as quick, not as clever, he'd take shots even half flush would have him on jelly legs in my view. Wilder is still #2 HW. But this third fight is bad news for him.
