The Alvarez rematch was frustrating for both guys because Kovalev looked like **** with his pitty pat punches and Alvarez missed the right hand all night long.

He was done in the Yarde fight until he YARDE got winded and knocked out....it's NOT because Sergey got his second wind.

    The guy's done.

I will probably tune in...sad to see a guy go out like Kov, but with the novelty of it being at 180 vs a decent name, I'm interested.

Kovi is fughin done and is an accident waiting to happen
He's been done since the aftermath of the Ward fights
Seems like those two fights took anything he had left
And don’t give me that chit about the Eleider rematch cause he didn’t win that fight , Eleider lost kit , plain and simple
He’s living a lie and Buddy is feeding that lie

Totally useless fight between an old former great champion and an old good boxer. Both old, both past their prime with little (if any) left in the tank. Kovalev has destroyed himself with his controversial lifestyle, Barrera is simply a 38 years old, one-step-behind fighter. At 180lbs? Kovalev wanting to go CW, according to Mc Girt, should have come in at 185-187. 180lbs doesn't make sense to me and neither does the (poor) purse and interest that this fight will generate, after Kovalev lost his belt to a natural Middle Weight last November. Btw, I don't even think he's given away the belt for money, he lost plan and simple because he screwed-up his stamina (and career) with his bad habits of drinking. The Krusher I used to be a fan of (the pre-Ward version, I mean) would have walked through Canelo... Peace.

Kovalev is well done now, Barrera is ageing much better he stops Kovalev.

Kov's career has become a roller-coaster. I just don't know what to make of this match-up or the 180lb catch-weight. He's a (soon-to-be) 37 year old who's drowning in his out-of-ring drama. I hate that he decided to play the stepping stone for Canelo, but his performance could simply be chalked up to the quick turn-around. A fighter with his age/mileage and outside drama NEEDS more rest in-between fights. I don't expect him to look like that against Barrera. I felt he looked good against Eleider and Yarde before Canelo, and that version of Kov is capable of beating Barrera. However, it feels like Kov's career seems so unstable that any solid and hungry fighter could potentially beat him. Buddy truly has his work cut out for him.

Did you bet Canelo by KO??? Because I don’t know anyone who did???
Obviously I don't know how people bet with their money but we had 5 or 6 guys (out of 30ish) on the Pick Em going for the Canelo KO (most of 'em Late too). Majority thought Saul would win by decision though. Overall 22/34 picked Canelo FTW and about 6 picked the Canelo win by KO.
