I just...sometimes I just don't know. It's like NSB doesn't even care about being consistent.

How are the two situations remotely the same? One guy said I can’t continue and the other got the towel thrown in.

Khan was clearly looking for a way out. He didn't want to continue. Wilder was exhausted and befuddled. He was in survival mode, hoping Fury made a mistake he could capitalize on. But he didn't want out if it meant losing.

you can't just break it down to who is throwing more. Wilder has been down in fights before, yet remaining passive looking for an opening. Khan doesn't fight like that. he goes in there and lets em' fly regardless.

They are two entirely different fighters who approach the sport differently. WW and HW being two rather different divisions has a lot to do with it as well.

It's not inconsistent. It's just recognizing that different fighters react in different ways to just about anything that happens in the ring. Taking their approach into account while judging their true intent.

If you disagree with the idea that Khan quit and Wilder didn't that's fine. But to pretend like there is a universal way to react to adversity amongst all fighters is just silly.

Wilder lives and dies by the one big power punch. Khan lives and dies by his speedy flurries. Shouldn't be news to anyone..

Crawford/Khan: Virgil Hunter told the ref Khan couldn't continue.

Wilder/Fury 2: Marc Breland (by way of a white towel) told Kenny Bayless that Wilder couldn't continue.

It's the SAME thing. Both fights were stopped by their CORNER, not the fighter.

        Ortiz/Maidana? THAT's a quit.

Khan literally told the ref he couldn’t continue and didn’t want the five minutes because he thought he’d get a DQ win out of it.

No, he didn't. Virgil Hunter did.

AMIR KHAN’s trainer Virgil Hunter has explained why he withdrew ‘King’ after a brutal low blow by Terence Crawford, which resulted in a controversial technical knockout defeat.

And the softly-spoken Californian revealed why he came to that decision in an interview with BT Sport.

“He indicated to me that he was hit in the testicles and that it just took the life out of him,” Hunter said.

“Sometimes a low blow can incapacitate. You get five minutes but there’s been scientific study that a bad low blow can really incapacitate a person.

“So he said he had no legs. I don’t think Amir… Amir’s never indicated or shown in his career that he will quit. So I have to take his word for it.”

Wilder was looking for a way out for sure, you could see in his body language he was finished, just retreating constantly, laying on the ropes and throwing nothing but the occasional half assed shot. I wish the corner hadn't stopped it though because we weren't far from getting no mas

lol khan got punched in the thigh and had 5 minutes to recover but cried to the ref and corner, milking it for all its worth. He was hoping to get a DQ win out of it.

Wilder was hobbling around for the for 4 rounds and still was throwing back when he could.

lol at OP trying to say this was the same thing.
