One weight class apart I believe and I can see why some might say Chocolatito wins but Martinez is a whole different beast non stop speed and power I think he actually will be the one to overwhelm Gonzalez ala the Thai fella.
Also his defense isn’t leaky he picks off alotta punches with his high guard he gets hit just as much as most top fighters he’s not gatti.Comment

Its funny how you compare Martinez to Rungvisai whe they are nothing alike. Not only is Rungvisai a much better puncher, he is also much durable. Gonzalez has been there with the elites who are much better and so much bigger than Martinez.

I liked El Rey against Harris. I thought he stood straight up and had his chin too high but he won the fight hands down. I think if they were to meet Gonzales wears him him down to a corner stoppage. Too busy too much pressure for the young man to compute.Comment

I see alotta folks here underestimating Martinez Choco looked good but he also isn’t his old self he still looked slow and unsteady at times.
