    BoxingScene.com has been advised that IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas (32-1-2) will return to the ring on April 11th against Jonathan Javier Rodriguez (21-1) of Mexico. The fight will take place at the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and will be broadcast on an ESPN platform.

            Ancajas turned a corner (so to speak) in his last fight. He was attacking but aggressively. It appeared contentious and determined. Not like the Ancajas that tried to win on skill alone. If he shows that he aims to keep that mindset I'm back on board. I like that he's trying to stay more active and this fight is good for him to for that reason. Also to show me that he means business and it wasn't a fluke I witnessed last time out.
