Comments Thread For: Fury Opens As Betting Favorite, Yet Bettors Continue To Back Wilder

Given the emphatic outcome of their rematch, it's hardly surprising to see Tyson Fury open as a considerable betting favorite over Deontay Wilder for their planned third fight. Yet as was the case in their recent sequel, the betting action continues to trend in one direction.

50% ROI on your money for Fury after that rematch in an immediate trilogy fight might be among the best ROI one can make right now. Jump on that sh^t. If I was a venture capitalist guy I'd throw a $100M on that & just tell my investors it was a bad investment in nanobots that eat your poop for energy while repairing your cells if Wilder somehow flips it in the 3rd fight.

If Wilder was a bigger underdog I would be tempted to bet on him. And see if he can land that Hail Mary punch to get a better return!! Wilders punch is the only thing to make you hesitate on betting period. He could get trucked again or land that good night money shot right between the eyes. Too risky lol

Here’s why the money should only be on Fury.

After fight one, when an out of condition Fury outboxed Wilder for 10 rounds, Wilder said ‘I wasn’t 100%, might have had a virus or something’ or words to that meaning. After fight two, when a better conditioned Fury owned him, he said ‘my costume was too heavy and my legs were gone’.

Soo, twice he tried, twice he failed, twice he had an excuse. At no point has he said ‘I’m thinking I might need to get better at boxing’, if he said that, then I’d pay attention and consider he might be more even on the betting.

I'd say get your money on the draw. That sends Fury into the mega fight with AJ while raising Wilders stocks back up allowing for the sell on the winner of AJ -Fury. The rivalry has always been sold on the 3way.
