Saunders and Smith don't think they can beat Canelo...

If you think you can beat Canelo, is getting paid 8m fair?

If you don't think you can beat Canelo, is it respectable to ask for the moon and stars to sell your loss?

Is Canelo buying Ls or handing out opportunities to beat him with an 8mil dollar incentive to take his challenge?

i saw on a boxing site that an offer was made to saunders for like 8 mil, that canelo and his team want saunders but oscar wants smith, since saunders is asking for too much and seems like smith is willing to budge more... so canelo wants to fight the skilled fighter while oscar wants the cheaper...

It all depends. The likes of Saunders and Smith can make abit of money fighting each other, then a Eubank, some easy defences, it all adds up. What's more interesting to me is Canelo going to actually fight a young and ambitious guy for once. Smith looked extremely vulnerable last time out, being outboxed by the 5 foot 8 John Ryder.Saunders looked like trash last time out too. What's the delay?

BJS/Smith/Plant are all interchangeable that's why GBP has leverage in negotiations. After Canelo smokes BJS the next offer should be lower to those 2 guys.

Do you know for fact Oscar offerd Saunders and Smith 8 million or are you just guessing and pulling numbers out of your head? Every time I read about or research this subject Oscar just says they are amazing, amazing offers but refuses to answer the question when asked the amount of the offers. I suspect they are low offers in the area of 4 million. Jacobs, Kovalev and Khan all got about 13 million to fight Canelo and Oscar turned cheapo and is not offering anything close to that. Anyway Saunders has no fear of Canelo and he is the champion Canelo wanted to fight next and Canelo always gets what he wants. Saunders was made a much better offer and he will be fighting Canelo on May 2nd in Vegas of course. Saunders always was the guy Oscar, and team Canelo wanted to fight. All other low ball bogus offers to other champions were only for show so Oscar could say we tried to fight them all.

8M is an OK offer. It's not great, but it's not horrible either.
