DAZN already gambled and lost in there first year of boxing. The owner of DAZN is already crying NO MAS NO MAS so they have to go hat in hand to the investor community. This looks like a desperate attempt to slow the bleeding. Those countries each require DAZN to invest more resources into hardware and support. Most of those countries boxing is not popular and internet access is much lower and people have less money to waste on cra-py DAZN cards.

Will be interesting what happens. For me, if it just means we pay dazn subscription on top of sky it will be frustrating but if we no longer pay for ppv and just pay dazn instead we are probably better off?
I’ll see how it plays out - will be interested what other sports dazn has/goes for if it launches in the uk. Match room does have a lot of sports under its banner remember, could the deal be far more than just boxing?Comment

Having to be a subscriber of Sky, or BT is always a barrier for some, and this hopefully removes this ; just pop onto the app, and away you go. Unsure why Sky or BT don't have a one off pay per view system without having to be a full subscriber to their service to access just a one off thing they're showing e.g. PPVLast edited by vital1983; 03-02-2020, 05:47 PM.Comment

This news are refreshing.
I hope this move translate to see more boxing around the World. I like boxing with all my passion and I am not bind by networks, promoters and fighters. The mature veteran know what this means.
