More humiliating than Wilder losing during Black History month?

An American fighting for the Heavyweight championship on the 4th of July would be a good marketing angle.

They could get a lot of extra PPV buys from people throwing 4th of July parties who may not purchase the fight on a regular Saturday.

They didn't think he would lose.

          They know now

There should have been rematch clause in fight one and that’s it, Finkel pushing for a rematch clause for a rematch was just plain greedy. But unfortunately Frank Warren doesn’t really have much clout in the US and would have just done was asked.

No matter, Wilder is going to be sitting around telling everyone ‘I’m still a king, I got that big fight hand, I gonna bring it next time’....I got a message for you Wilder...you can’t learn to box at that level in 5months. Just as you couldn’t quite cut it in Football, you stood a few rungs down on the podium at the Olympics...that’s your level. You’re rich from smart, protective management, now bag up and go home.

This fight is down to what Fury does ....If he's fit ready and on song it's his.. if not it's a 50/50 ..don't forget Wilder has the equaliser!

                I wanted Fury to win.
Was happy to see Fury get the win and in emphatic fashion, If for no other reason than to humble Wilder and to right the wrong of the first fight. I had Fury winning that fight even with the 2 knockdowns.

HOWEVER the backlash against a man who lost for the first time has been unreal.

Everyone and their dog has taken a shot at the Bronze Bomber. The trolling has been relentless, deserved or not.

Since that loss Fury has suddenly become the best thing since sliced bread while Wilder the "one trick pony" finally got "exposed"

A fighter with 40+ victories/KOs who also medalled at the Olympics finally gets "exposed" by the man who most "experts" and these same fans had not predicted would beat Wilder before their first fight...and with good reason.

                Suddenly Wilder never was.
Its become almost comical reading all these anti Wilder sentiments.

In a perfect world the Fury v AJ fight happens NEXT.

If Wilder presses for the rematch so be it. I will look forward to it.
And i will be supporting Wilder this time around.

Feel free to hang your hat on this Fury victory and use it as a prediction of the outcome of the 3rd fight.
And feel free to bet your house on it!

I can tell you are from the old country. You have a fundamental and grave misunderstanding of American patriotism. These days it isn’t about nation, it’s about colour and race. There is a reason why Ufc became more popular than boxing....

HAHA!!!! So true, especially after he was beaten during Black History month.

All valid points but Wilder's excuses deserve some criticism. From his costume to him blaming a Dirrell brother were all just pitiful excuses. I agree though, Wilder definitely has a shot to win the third match and he's deserve more credit. Yes, he's one trick pony but it's impressive that he's always found a way to land that right. He has a chance but I'm worried about his mentality and fear another loss would be devastating for him. He hasn't handled losing well and if he lost again in similar fashion it would probably hurt his career and kill his self-esteem. I think it's reckless that his time allowed him to take the rematch
