Has the word "robbery" lost all meaning?

Seems like that with every fight now that is reasonably competitive there are boxing fans complaining that the loser was robbed. Either some people have zero idea how to score fights or they are just extremely biased. Real robberies are fights like Pacquiao-Bradley 1, Whitaker-Chavez, Williams-Lara ect.

good to see I am not the only one who objects to the way they mess up our sport

they are like children playing a video-game... if they do not win, everyone must be cheating

It comes up weekly now. I ****ing hate it. There's no grey area with these new boxing fans It's "you're the best" or "youre a bum" same with scorecards. It could be a legit 7-5 scorecard, and people will have it 7-5 the other way and it's a "robbery"

It literally has no meaning anymore. Any fight that 8-4 or closer will be called a robbery lol

I agree and yes the term "robbery" is used way too often. The same goes for terms like "bum", "hypejob" and "tomato can". Most of it is bias to be honest

7-5 or 5-7 is a robbery if it puts an L on a fighter’s record who didn’t deserve it.

if you score it 7-5 one way, and the judge scores it 7-5 the other way, it's not a robbery. It's a close decision.

By your OWN definition, Pac/Bradley 1 was not a robbery.

Whitaker/Chavez was about keeping someone alive.

                Williams/Lara - yes, that was a robbery.

                Pac/Marquez 3 - arguably a robbery.

                Wilder/Fury 1 - arguably a robbery.

Eubank/Schommer - robbery, admitted by Eubank himself.

                Hopkins/Calslappy - arguably a robbery.

                Foreman/Briggs - not a robbery, close.

                Leonard/Hagler - not a robbery, close.

                Mayweather/Castillo - not a robbery, close.

                Mayweather/Maidana - not a robbery, close.

                Pac/Horn - not a robbery, close.

                Pac/Thurman - not a robbery, close.

                Thurman/Porter - not a robbery, close.

                Spence/Porter - not a robbery, close.

Key words that don’t mean chit anymore ; bum and robbery
First off , quite sad to call anybody even less a boxer a bum
Then the robbery , which gets thrown around the minute your favourite fighter doesn’t get the decision that suits you

Last night there was a poll for the Garcia vs Vargas fight
The poll stated a clear victory for Garcia ( last I had seen ) but still people that wanted the poll and then still didn’t agree with the result , just began insulting anyone who didn’t see it their way
So what’s the fughin use of making the poll
