Yes back down.....vargas is a pretty big welterweight with good skills .....the fight would prove that he is meant for 147 and can hang with the big boys for sure. If he loses he's not worth mentioning at 147.......

Well, the DAZN boys just said he’s 1A/1B with loma at 135 even though I doubt Mikey can even make 135 again.

Probably takes a third fight at 147 against some club fighter for a vacant belt.

If he loses, he definitely drops down to 140. I don't think 135 is viable for him anymore. But if somehow he can still make 135, he may go that route and take on one of the young studs or Lomachenko.
