I agree that a punchers' chance is not a justifiable reason for a third fight to happen, or even for the second fight not being stopped. I think people are just saying he has a punchers' chance because they don't know what else to say.

Stephen Edwards at least mentioned in his mailbag he believes there are adjustments Wilder could make for the third fight, but for the most part I think people just can't come up with reasons to justify a rubber match and are just reminding the public Wilder can punch.

If the third fight does go through it'll be because of Wilder's pride and stubbornness, along with it being a contractually stipulated option.

I agree. We all know Wilder can punch but if his game plan is hoping Fury makes a mistake so he can land his right hand, i think he already lost with that mindset.

I think he will adjust, but Fury has won so many rounds against him that it's really hard to imagine him changing a third fight dramatically without catching Fury.

We will just have to wait and see.

It only takes one at heavyweight. Fury should be the favorite but Wilder is always a live opponent because of that right hand.
I agree with this. Wilder can win a fight without winning a round.
It's far more difficult against a guy who has dominated him twice, two different ways - but with some adjustments (is Dias capable of working some stuff out) maybe he can land. However, the argument can be made that Fury has already taken Wilder's best shots and not just survived but carried on winning.

For me the 3rd fight is more of the same, and if that happens I don't think Wilder would be mentally capable of carrying on - he's already falling apart at the seams.
