It's not the loss, it's the way he lost.

He didn't win a single round in the fight! Had he maybe won 3 or 4 rounds, he at least would've come off as respectable.

This fight with Vargas is now seen as a "competitive fight", whereas for other top level fighters, Vargas would be seen as a closer to a tune up level opponent.

Regardless the success against vargas, I think Mikey has no business at 147 unless he fights Pacquiao for huge payday.

He can`t beat Spence, Thurman, Porter, Crawford. he also can`t beat Pacquiao, but it is a big money fight.
