Will Mikey Garcia do better against Vargas than Pacquiao and Bradley?

The only two people to ever beat Vargas were Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao.

Mikey Garcia is hoping to have a good win over Vargas to secure the Pacquiao fight. Since Pacquiao was the last person to beat Vargas, it will help if Mikey can have a more impressive win over Vargas than Pacquiao did.

I will be impressed if Mikey can knockdown Vargas. His only hope is to outpoint a rugged Vargas.

No, people underestimate Vargas for some reason....I personally believe it's because they both box for TR but anyways. Garcia is small at 147, he doesn't have the definition which tells me he doesn't have the cardio required at 147. I think he's going to struggle especially after the Spencer loss and this could be a cherrypick gone wrong.

People are saying Mikey should go down to 140, but Mikey was 145 at the weigh in and he seems like he doesn't need to rehydrate, so I think he should be at 135. I know he thinks the big money is at 147, but he can make good money down at 135 & 140.

Chasing that Pacquiao fight might ruin his career.

ya gotta love the way he backs himself

he could definitely make 140, not sure about 135

this could be a very good fight, best of luck to both guys

That remains to be seen. One thing's for sure though - daddy Spence will be proud and pleased should Mikey pull this off cause it will surely elevate his win over him. Vargas is a legit 147 fighter and it will legitimize Spence's 147 win over Mikey

This may look like they are weight classes apart but their Broner comparison might help as Mikey easily beat Broner. Vargas had Broner problems

Bradley won 11 out of 12 rounds. So I doubt it.

I think mikey either wins a boring decision outboxing vargas . Or he goes life and death and gets a gift or a draw
