Comments Thread For: SugarHill Steward: Credit For Fury Beating Wilder Should Be Even

SugarHill Steward describes his immediate emotions in celebration after Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder as a mixed one. As soon as Wilder trainer Mark Breland threw in the towel in the seventh round, Fury lifted both of his arms in celebration, just as Steward climbed the apron. They both embraced in a genuine hug, and then Fury planted a wet one on Steward.

If Wilder had a trainer that could light fire under his butt he would accomplish more....
Hell if Wilder just had a trainer he could Lol Jay Deas babbling in the corner between rounds isn't much help for the guy.

Huh? Wtf? So he thinks he should get half the credit as Fury? How about ten percent? That seems fair.

If credit was to split 50/50 that would include the purse also. So, steady on, you did well and the plan worked.

But you're teaching the same Kronk style and Wilder's not exactly boxing's answer to hieroglyphics when it comes to figuring out puzzles.

Terrible headline for the article, making us wrongly assume Steward was salty for not getting as much credit...

10% of the credit is fair as long as he gets 10% of the purse. I think he'd settle tor that.

I'm sure that Hill meant that their should be credit due to the whole team that helped Fury prepare; not that Tyson shouldn't get the most credit because he's the one that actually had to fight and risk his health. It looks like ' Sugar Hill' did a fantastic job, showing Fury how to back up and nullify Wilder. These big punchers don't take a punch all that well, be it Joshua or Wilder, although they don't have the worst chins.

Sugarhill deserves a lot of credit for moulding Fury into such a wrecking ball in a short space of time. I hope they continue to work together for the next match.

Fury won't really get a lot of credit for the win. The one thing I've learned about boxing fans is that in their eyes there is the top guy in a division- and EVERYONE ELSE is a bum.

1 month ago Wilder was considered one of the hardest punchers ever; now beating him means nothing. Fury will be good until someone beats him, then he'll be a bum too. Thats just how boxing fans work.
