Anybody giving credence to the theory that Wilders legs were weakened by his costume need to see the state of his legs before and immediately after the first knockdown. He staggered back to his corner that round and they never recovered.

A short ring walk with the equivalent of a 7 year old girl on your back or an unseen big right hand to the ear from a 6 foot 9 inch 270lb giant?

Given the speed in which he hit the canvas, it's beyond madness to blame the costume.

There’s a few YouTube videos that confirmed my memory was correct; Wilder said on the Joe Rogan show that he trains with a 45lbs weighted vest...yet a 40lbs Lord of the Rings cosplay costume drains his legs after a 3 minute walk to the ring? Behave yourself Barry. You got bullied from pillar to post. End of discussion.

Everyone missed this - but AJ after the 2nd Ruiz fight - blamed a medical problem for his first loss. He said he had surgery for it.

He went back on what he said - because he said again
and again there was nothing wrong. Now he was saying he had no energy and was putting his head in a bucket of cold water before the fight to try to get himself alert.

Do you have a link to this interview? Because I’ve heard everybody but AJ claim there were medical issues for the first fight. Even if you provide a link to an interview where AJ says this, he still didn’t cry and lie in the post fight interview and subsequent interviews claiming rabbit punches, heavy Game of Thrones armour or Breland being influenced by Anthony Dirrell to throw the towel in. Wilder is an absolute joke.

Hearn is actually huge, he's like 6'5 but he openly admits he's not tough.

I'll admit it's a weak excuse, and that's coming from a Wilder fan.

However,I find it no more offensive than all the excuses Fury made for being decapitated in the first fight. And I heard no objections from anyone then.So all is fair as far as I'm concerned.
