FORREST-QUARTEY- Special highlight of the night: This guy is walking through the crowd in a funky looking 1970's disco-era print shirt and a MR. T haircut. He doesn't have the ***elry, other than a single pair of gold gloves on a chain around his neck, but he does have the haircut. So every once in a while someone will call him over and take a picture with him and I keep thinking he must be a former boxer or something. He is smiling a lot and has the aura around him of someone that is a star but I seriously have no idea who he is. I am just a few feet away from him and I keep looking at him trying to figure out who he is but cannot pick up a resemblance to anybody in boxing or anywhere else for that matter that is famous enough that people in a fight crowd at MSG would want to take his picture.
So there is these three guys, an older man and two young guys, sitting directly in front of me and one of the younger ones gets up and poses with the guy as the older man excitedly takes a photo of them together. I tap the older guy on the shoulder and ask him "Who is that guy?" He turns around and in a thick Russian accent he tells me "Yes, they say that is the famous actor. Mr. T."
Trust me when I tell you. I am more than sure that was not Mr. T!!!
