    Hatton turns down Mesuqita?

This has been out for a little while now and since "I dont think" there has been any thread made about it, I take it as people dont really care.

However, I do. Why cant Hatton face Mesuita? I admit, I thought dude was one of these bums with a good record because he hasnt faced anyone but he looked really solid on ESPN and I think he could give Hatton alot of problems. Win or lose, this has fight of the year written all over it.

Hatton seems like Callazo scared the **** out of him so bad that he doesnt know what to do. Wether he wants to fight at 140, 147, or against who.

There have been talks about him fighting Castillo but that **** still isnt until 07 so thats another fight away. They say that fight will be at 140 but yet he wants to fight his ****ty mandatory in Urkal at 147? If he's going to fight at 147 and wont give Callazo a rematch then he should fight Mesuita. I think it would be a great fight.

If he's going back down to 140 then he should still fight someone tough. All you guys rip Floyd because you think he doesnt want to fight Margarito before a big Oscar payday but Hatton doesnt want to fight anyone half way decent before a Castillo fight. For some reason Castillo is like the only guy he wants to fight. He said he would fight the winner of him & Chico but never said anything else about Chico since. He doenst think Chico is a good matchup for him but he thinks Castillo is perfect because he fights just like him but Hatton is bigger & faster so he should easily win. Atleast thats what he thinks.

I would love to see him fight Mesquita or fight Harris before the Castillo fight but I know he will end up fighting a bum

He just fought on ESPN and everyone was impressed with him. He's not your average flukey with a shakey resume. He hits hard as **** and would give alot of guys at 147 real problems. If you saw him fight then you wouldnt question what Im saying
