Why does Australia produce rubbish boxers??

I’m actually quite excited about Tim tyszu and am following him closely but let’s be honest here! Australian boxing is an absolute joke. Bit like Italian or french boxing just rubbish. Their best fighters are average at best! Anybody agree

I wouldn't say it's that bad. They have a small population and with other sports being far more popular and financially backed there the boxing participation is very small. Hard to really develop when you're country is far away from others on a plane and the local participation is small.

That said they've produced some great and near great boxers historically speaking: Jeff Fenech, Lionel Rose, Les Darcy, Young Griffo, Jimmy Carruthers and Johnny Famechon (born in France but moved as a child). Rose has one of the best 10 wins in boxing history for example when as a teenager he dethroned a genuine all-time great in Fighting Harada with a boxing masterclass.

I noticed how Aussies have yellow teeth like the Brits and Japs. Even their pretty woman have yellow teeth.

Umm eww? Is teeth whitening not a thing there or what but i find it disgusting.

Boxing isn’t even in the top 5 sports in USA. How many watch Super Bowl or other sports compared to wilder on ppv??

                You said "Australian boxing".

Kostya considered himself an Australian boxer, not a Russian one.

                So, same question.

                    USA population = 327m
                    Australia population = 24m

There's a slight difference. I think Australia has the two forms of Rugby, Aussie Rules Football, Cricket, Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Basketball at least ahead. I'd probably say it's not in the top 10 sports in Australia.
