If Crawford got beat up, the backlash would be worse

    Agree or disagree?

I think it would be worse than the backlash against Wilder because Crawford has been built up as arguably the best boxer in the world.

Everyone knew Wilder’s flaws and questioned his resume.

Crawford has been given a very elite status without the big name win.

Of course. An opponent lands a right hand on him and people pee their pants. He is held to a much higher standard.

If Crawford gets beat by Manny. No. If he gets beat by a nobody...yes. He will catch the rap of being exposed.

If Spence beats him I dont think he will catch a bad rap due to the belief that Spence is all that. Im sure the rematch will have to be played out on that...depending on how he gets beat

Nah, Crawford has proven himself time and time again and has clearly shown elite to HOF boxing skill. Lucky punches and bad nights can happen no matter how good you are. Wilder on the other hand has been schooled even by D+ to C- level fighters before his supposed ko and seemed to be avoiding half decent opponents for years. His loss to a healthy not rusty elite fighter was vindication for people who have been saying for years that he's a fraud and paper champ.

It depends..... On who beats him and how he reacts after the fight.

A better example would be Spence, dudes would lose their mind.

I don't see anyone of these guys making excuses like Wilder did and that has to be taken into account into the backlash

People act like Jeff Horn was Bud's first fight, he's earned his status.

I would actually like to see someone good step up and fight Crawford. hes one of my favs but unless I see him in there with an elite I can't determine how good he really is. he beat down Jeffrey pretty thoroughly

It's just as bad, bro. You know it is.

Crawford's biggest fans will make every excuse for Crawford even when provided direct audio and video evidence that he's blowing smoke and mirrors.
