Mikey is not good enough to be a 5-1 favorite over a fighter like vargas. Vargas is taller and has longer reach so mimey wont be able to win on the outside. Ill be betting on vRgas here

Vargas has been completely wiped out every time he’s faced the best of the best. He probably lost 23 of 24 rounds in his two losses.

He fought to a draw with Adrien Broner, who Mikey Garcia wiped out.

He did not look good at all in his draw against Thomas Dulorme.

His title wins over Allakhverdiev and Ali don’t seem that impressive anymore.

I think Vargas has a chance because he has a good jab, he’s a very solid boxer and he’s bigger. But I understand why he’s an underdog.
