The Alvarez would be tough. Eleider should outbox Smith provided he doesn't get caught by Joe's power shots. Joe isn't the smoothest technician but he's pulverized some names on his resume, and he rocked Bivol pretty good in a fight he lost.

I've seen Vlasov fight a few times, he's a durable guy with ok boxing skills. I remember him losing to Chilemba and Glowacki. Don't know about the 4th guy in this box-off though.
Joe Smith is a tough out for anyone in the division.
Eleider has to fight the perfect fight.

Would've been the best opponent on his resume and he blatantly ducks. Very disappointing.

All of that just to end up with Alvarez-Smith, which was the fight they wanted to make anyways. Thanks for wasting our time, Zurduck.

Joe got in some good work and definitely proved his meddle vs Hart recently. I give him a better than average chance vs the slicker Alvarez.

Although sick and disgusted of all this crap, I gotta back Zurdo on this! His promoter went along and encouraged the WBO to change their policy of a reigning champion to be in line for the title after moving up a weight class. When Zurdo jumped to LHW that was the plan. He made his initial fight and took care of business then all of a sudden what was policy changed for no other reason than because they felt like it. It's not like you got a star filled foursome going at it where fans are drooling at the matchups. This was all set up to derail Zurdo and what's sad is TR his promoter promised bigger fights and encouraged Zurdo to move up for those big fights. Then TR sabotaged their champion with the help of their organization in manipulation. A real slap in the face. Can't blame Zurdo for feeling cheated! I feel cheated and boxing at this division just got cheated. I know Zurdo is better than all others at this division and wanted to see the true test vs Bivol. Could have and should have been in the works by now! Thanks TR for your egotistic hidden agendas. Selfish f...ks!!!

Eh, good scrap. Sucks that Ramirez bailed, but Storm-Smith is a nice fight.

What's Zurdo's beef with Top Rank? Why did that relationship sour?
