Wilder wasn't 100% in that fight imo.. Fury wasn't 100% in the first fight.. AJ wasn't 100% in the first Ruiz fight. Haye wasn't 100% when he lost to Carl Thompson. Hatton wasn't 100% in the Pacquiao fight. Stiverne wasn't 100% in the Wilder rematch. Brewster wasn't 100% in the Wladimir rematch. It happens all the time in boxing.
Based on his pre-fight demeanor, facial expression and body language alone it was relatively easy to tell that something wasn't right even before the first bell. I thought from the moment Wilder removed his mask that Fury was probably going to win that fight - that's genuinely how obvious it was to me that Wilder was having an off-night, just from the way he was looking. Reminded me instantly of how AJ looked so uncomfortable before Ruiz 1.Comment
