Well if you compare their individual performances against 'The Man' (Fury), then Wallin ranks higher than Wilder based on that, and Ortiz, who just recently lost to Wilder, should rank lower than him as well.

Well, after first Wilder -Ortiz fight, Wilder fans claimed Wilder was N. 1, followed by Ortiz, who gave Wilder a good fight.

By that logic, Wallin si N. 2 right now.

I think people who too quick to attribute the unexpected competitiveness of that fight with Fury being ill prepared or to his trainer rather than give Wallin any credit. He ultimately still fell well short against Fury and doesn't have anything else notable on his record, so it's all still up in the air, but I think he's got potential. He showed a lot of grit, plus he's plenty big and a southpaw. Dispatch Browne well enough and whoever follows after that and who knows, maybe he can get himself in line for another shot.

Wallin passes the eye test for me. I think he's a good fighter, he'll smash Browne.
