The amount of posters on here saying Wilder is a bum

yet in the same breath, making a shrine for Fury, changing their avatars to his picture, saying how great he is etc.

I mean do you guys not realize how ****** you all look.

So Wilder is this huge bum...and Fury a king for beating him...yet officially Fury has one win and one draw over Wilder - getting dropped twice btw...and Wilder - by anyone's count - is the 2nd best name on Fury's resume lol.

The number of posters on here who analyze this sport with the intellect of a child is extremely high.

The posts - on all sides - after Fury's win have been very disappointing...people going overboard in all directions, making it racial etc...I feel like the majority of people who post on here are just very insecure men/boys who feel a deep desire to live vicariously through other men who are much more impressive than them, but who happen to look somewhat like them.

Its not new. People are still doing it with froid and Pacquiao and roidnelo and Golovkin. They put the winner on a pedestal while making the loser seem like a bum who never had a chance

Good point, it happens on here all the time.

It's honestly so dumb man...I have those two GGG-Canelo fights btw about as wide for GGG as anyone I've seen...thought he won both 8-4 and think that GGG is a great fighter...but I also give Canelo a lot of credit as well in those fights, he fought very well in there at times and in different ways.

If you beat a guy 8-4 or something similar...you are not really world's apart...you gotta give the other guy some credit, that is if you want to give the winner credit.

Wilder is definitely now being underrated. You don't have to be as good as the #1 to be considered one of the best. Say what you want about a guy like Ortiz but he is definitely in the 4th-10th best bracket and Wilder KO'd him twice.

Hell, I don't even care if Wilder gets demolished by Fury again and AJ later, there are still some fights that I would love to see him in. Unfortunately Wilder + the more cult-like extremist part of his fan base made things quite toxic among various fan-circles and now that he got smashed up, people will jump all over it.

Wilder is one of the best who got beat by the very best. It happens.

I saw Ryan Garcia do it to himself in an interview after knocking out Fonseca. He criticized Farmer and Davis for going rounds with the guy saying “I couldn’t believe it when he started moving. I was like are you joking?” Ryan was so eager to put down those other two guys that he shot down his own performance. It’s a sign of someone who is emotional and not thinking. Often a young person.

Good post man...well said...I would like to see Wilder-AJ as much as Fury-AJ...and even Wilder-Whyte, since apparently now everyone in the UK is 100% certain that Whyte would beat Wilder too.

And yeah, going into that Ortiz fight, I had been waiting for a few years (since the Povetkin situation) for Wilder to finally have that step up fight...is Ortiz old, yeah I guess...is he older than advertised, maybe? idk...but I do know, as you said, that he is now and certainly was then a top HW, and one that no one was really lining up to fight...remember he was with Hearn/AJ and left, presumably because he couldn't get the fight with AJ (if I am mistaken there, I apologize).

And Wilder stepped up in that fight and did what he had to do...he KOed a top contender, and we were wondering if he had that in him...I still wouldn't consider myself a 'fan' of his now...but I hate when people move the goalposts after a win, and people have certainly done that to him on the Ortiz fight(s).

Lol I didn't see that man...yeah I think a lot of the posters on here are probably a bit young...it's even sadder when some of the sillier ones on here are clearly grown men though...but hey that's just how it is...I'm still surprised in a way at how logic-less and emotional/tribal 'real' boxing fans on here are...but I've also gotten used to it.

No shame in rooting for your crew/for guys with whom you identify...that's life and human nature...but yeah the pettiness on here is just crazy sometimes.

                I kind of agree here.
My own position has always been that AJ is #1, Whyte 2 and Fury 3. I'd put Wilder next but he will soon be surpassed by Dubois and Ajagba.

Both Wilder and Fury had been overrated. Fury has only fought Wlad, and a hyped Wilder.
Wilder's best win is Ortiz, bythe skin of his teeth he beat a 40 year old untested Cuban.

Joshua and Whyte have the better body of work. I'll be betting heavily on either against either of Wilder or Fury. In fact, Wilder is very lucky he ducked Whyte and AJ, Whyte is all wrong for the Alabaman one trick pony - Whyte would lay a very sorry beating on Wilder.

If social media was around in the 1970s would people be saying the same thing about Ali in the aftermath of Ali Frazier 1
