After seeing Kovalev, Wilder and AJ lose in a bad manner I have even more respect for GGG. Yes he officially lost to Canelo and had a tough fight against Derevyanchenko, but he was never dominated. The guy is like a rock. I remember Derev hurting him to the body, but GGG stayed composed. You could see by his face that he was hurt, but he overcame it. Really tough dude.

In the usual situation, the promoter raises the money to pay both fighters from broadcast rights -- TV, PPV, streaming, live gate sales, sponsorship sales and such. In this case, DAZN has a contract with Canelo to stream his fights for around $ 35 million per fight. Canelo is not obligated to contribute to the opposing fighter's purse. DAZN also has a separate deal with Oscar to pay Golden Boy Promotions to broadcast fights of other Golden Boy fighters. It is probably more complicated than what I just described, but that is the basic outline.
