Comments Thread For: Fury's Promoter Disappointed if Wilder Exercises Trilogy Clause

Frank Warren, promoter for Tyson Fury, admits he would be "disappointed" if Deontay Wilder follows through on his promise to exercise a contractual clause for a trilogy fight in the summer. Fury stopped Wilder in seven rounds on Saturday night, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Take the step aside, fight a can, and then get a Payday. Fury has his number but at least he can get his confidence back

Wilder already made his mind up that it was everyone else's fault but his so he will exercise it. He has blamed his corner, his costume, the referee, and even Tyson being "dirty" in like a 3 day span lol. He will exercise it and will get beaten again.

A 3rd fight will pretty much resemble the last fight....

The draw wont be as big this time. Wilder might get seriously hurt this time or even killed. Better go after Joshua instead

Wilder can get several million for doing nothing...train up, work on his footwork, his left hand, learn how to change speeds and his ability/willingness to throw combos (maybe?)...have it written into the Fury - Joshua contract that he gets the winner as part of the "step aside" deal...give the people Fury - Joshua and he's involved in a MONSTER ppv regardless who wins (and two fat paydays).

Don't play checkers, young man...play chess.

The only risk for Fury is that of getting overconfident when/if he fights Wilder again.

Yes, take the step aside money with a guaranteed shot at the winner.
Let the other big beat up on each other while you recover.
Haymon needs to shut Finkel up & take an easy 5-10 million dollars.
Go to the UK & be a part of the event.
No such thing as bad publicity.
Wilder is the 1 with only 3 fights left, not Fury
