I can see why Wilder avoided Klitschko.

I saw comments like that from Curt hening here the other day. Such a pointless thing to bring up. I asked him if Joshua was American and Wilder was British who would he like more he said Joshua even given the exact same scenarios and history.

The thing about that argument is dumb. Of course, a country of 330m should have more success than a country of 50m. I've never understood the need to brag about that. Also the point about, "oh if our NBA or NFL guys boxed they'd be the bestest" is pointless and can't be proven. That just tells me if your so xenophobic and can't accept other countries then maybe stay watching NFL or NBA only. Don't watch a sport that's in multiple countries. Probably why folks like that could never relate to soccer because there's too much worldwide participation.

I've never understood rooting for fighters and altering views and interpreting things the way you want just because they are from a certain country.

Wlad would've absolutely destroyed Wilder. I don't see how anyone sees otherwise.

I tend to agree but it was kind of like fighting a friend at the time so I'm not so sure his fear of Wlad was the reason that the fight didn't happen.

Huh? What about being extremely tall, having multiple highlight reel ko's in title fights and being an Olympic medalist? In fact, Wilder was not a household name here ya tw%t. Wilder is no more overrated than AJ was when he got smeared by a Taco Truck driver.

At least Wilder got knocked out by a credible fighter and not a short, chubby nobody

As if the only way to beat him is to stay away for a points win, Wlad would have used his jab to put him on the backfoot and knock him out with a jab feint left hook. Wilder knew it, listen to what he said in the build up to Wlad-AJ, he was projecting his own fear of Wlad into his comments.

Like I said, Saturday night was brilliant because now the Wilder rent boys can no longer claim fantasy victories over the threats he didn't fight.
Wilders fanbase was literally the most deluded in boxing history. And we have been through the floyd and pac fans delusion but at least you can understand they are genuine upoer echelon ATGs.

Wilder fans on the other hand was just something else. When you even suggest that Parker or Whyte would be a hard opponent for Wilder they would immediately screech and call you a Hearniac or AJ fanboy.

This victory is just too sweet to not savour man.

When a fighters resume stinks there is usually a good reason for it. To be the star he wants to be he needed to face better opposition and make the fans believe this guy is ready and willing to fight all comers.

But Finkel knew what would happen if he tried that and Fury, the cherry pick gone wrong, exposed it for those that couldnt already see it.

The smartest things you can do for your career as a boxer:

                    - Have those abs so the closet h00mo cuck fans can wear airbrushed t shirts of you naked

                    - Flashy entrances so people who aren't into boxing but are watching the event with friends remember you

                    - Duck everyone you can

It's just the way it is. Guys like Pulev will probably be working a normal 9-5 in their 50s because they treated boxing like a normal sport.

If he boxed less, did more crunches, stalled his title shots for 10 years and walked to the ring dressed like elton john, he would be sitting on 100 million.
