The only fighter that can retire before the mega fight is Fury. He has done it before, so he can still do it again. He never defended his titles for once, lets hope he does defend it this time around.

"Yeah, you're really a tough guy, man" Hahahaha. What?? That's what a child says when they get pulled up because they're too simple to say anything of merit.Yeah you're really a tough guy man...and the discussion I was having with the other fellow was with regards to him saying Wilder was not a top 5 HW right now...and that Whyte Povetkin and Parker had better resumes than Wilder, when they pretty clearly don't.
I'm not even a Wilder fan...but yeah he has about 10 good wins.
Starting with Stiverne 1 he has about 10 quality wins, all by KO, over decent fighters at minimum.
There is no way someone can say Whyte or Parker has a better resume...Povetkin has a similar one to Wilder but he is 40 years old...Parker's last 4 wins are over Leapai, Flores, Hughie Fury, and Cojanu...and his next fight is vs Shanwdell Winters.
There are holes in Wilder's resume, but not compared to those 3 guys, and definitely not compared to Whyte and Parker.
So you couldn't name all 10 fighter's then? Of course you can't. There isn't even 1 good win. Stiverne is a bum whose best win is another bum in Arreola. Neither of those are even decent. They're stone cold nobodies.
They're decent now? Make up your mind because you're contradicting yourself. The only decent wins Wilder has is the 2 over Ortiz and the 1 over Brezeale. Everyone else is an absolute cabbage.
Wilder has a better resume than Whyte, Povetkin and Parker??? No, he doesn't.
You think the fighter with the lesser resume out of Parker, Whyte and Povetkin has a similar resume to Wilder? No, he doesn't.
The best is Whyte with 1 good win over Parker, and 3 decent wins over Rivas and Chisora x2.
Next is Parker with 1 good win over Ruiz, and a decent win over Takam.
Last out of those 3 is Povetkin with 4 decent wins over Huck, Chambers, Takam and Perez.
A good win is when you beat another fighter who is good or better. A decent win is when they're solid and capable, but not someone who has beaten anyone of any real credibility.
Sorry, but you're talking complete nonsense like so many idiots on this site who are nothing but complete weirdo's of the highest order.Comment

Why would you need me to name them lol....I said basically everyone since Stiverne 1....count em up yourself man."Yeah, you're really a tough guy, man" Hahahaha. What?? That's what a child says when they get pulled up because they're too simple to say anything of merit.

And again Povetkin is 40...Ruiz is only a 'name' because he chinned AJ, and he was a 30-1 dog in that fight...rather than over-rating Ruiz, I think it is more of a slight on AJ that he lost that fight.
Saying Whyte's decent wins were Rivas, and Chisora twice lol...and then not giving Wilder credit for similar, more dominant wins...I mean whatever man...if that's really what you want to think go ahead.
Whyte is just another over-hyped UK guy and you guys do that all the time...if he fought Wilder he is getting chinned 9 out of 10 times...if you can't see that you ain't looking.Comment

Every bum since Stiverne? Tell me why you delude yourself into believing they're good wins? Tell me what they did that makes it so? A shot bum in Arreola? Haha. A complete scrub nobody in Washington? Duhuphas? Spilka? GTFOH.Why would you need me to name them lol....I said basically everyone since Stiverne 1....count em up yourself man.

Ruiz is just a good fighter. You prove it when you beat someone like AJ. But it all came about from AJ making a huge mistake by trying to finish Ruiz off after dropping him by standing square on and swinging hooks with him. You don't do that when you're that big with someone with faster hooks. That's why fighters with his style never do it. It's the worst thing they can do.
Chisora beat a prime Helenius when he was prime but got ripped off even though he dominated. He's given all the top fighters a tough fight for years. Wilder and Ortiz would have been knocked out by Helenius, let alone all the other guys. They would have retired a long time ago due to being shot. Not once would they win any of the fights. So yeah, any normal boxing fan would definitely consider Chisora decent by what he's done. None of the bums Wilder beat other than Fury would beat him. Takam is another decent win for Chisora. None of the bums Wilder beat would beat Takam. That's why none of them have a Takam on their resume. Because they're bums.
Rivas is prime and solid. He beat the same Jennings that made Ortiz a "Beast". So yeah, he's decent too.
We don't consider Whyte to be anything but a good, solid world class fighter. So no, we don't overhype him. We'll leave that madness to you guys who call bums like Wilder a HOF after making worthless defences against the worst level of garbage that can be found. Just look at all the trash you call good over there when most don't even have a single good win on their resume. The others that do have at least a good win, lose so soon after when they step up again. And that's it for them. No nation does hideous hype jobs like you guys. We have 1/5 the people in our country you do, but if you list all the top wins our top fighters have on either side, we dwarf your wins by a huge amount. It's a disgrace.
Wilder was scared of Whyte and ducked him like crazy for years for a reason. And it's not because he thought he wasn't worth bothering with. Whyte would be the best win on his resume if Wilder could get a win over him by a long shot. If you can't see the truth, it ain't about not looking. It's about living in a delusional state because the truth is too much for the mentally weak. Just like all your coward fighters who refuse to fight anybody of worth. And when they do, they're getting clipped like they always do. They know it too, which is why you have a country full of cowards that duck fighters across the board.Comment

I really don't care at all about any of this...I already said my piece on it really.
To your point about UK vs US fighters and being hyped...that is really odd to me...US guys seem more or less to be vetted by each other before they step up...same with the Cubans, and the Eastern Euros.
Generally speaking it seems to me that the Mexicans and UK guys tend to get over-hyped more than anyone, since so much money is in those 2 places...it happens some in the US too, but generally again those guys compete with each other so the best guys usually end up getting the most buzz.
And dude Wilder fought Ortiz twice, Fury twice, and then Brezeale in a quasi grudge match/mandatory...he wasn't ducking Whyte man lol...I am not even a Wilder fan...but his right hand has to be respected and would make him the favorite vs most anyone at HW, even now.Comment

Nothing weird about the post. I was replying to the comments you made about hype and Deontay supposedly having good wins on his resume when he doesn't even have 1 good win. Neither do you because you keep on deflecting from my questions. Why were the fighters Wilder beat any good? Simple question, man.Lol man that was a weird post.

No nations fighters get anywhere near the hype Americans do. For you to think otherwise is nothing other than typical from an American on the internet.
The list of jokes I could name that were hyped by you lot over there is ridiculous. It's actually laughable with so many of them.
What does "Vetted by each other" mean? Can you be more specific?
Money doesn't even come into it. I'm baffled why you think it would when it comes to hype.
And Mexico has so much money? There isn't much money in Mexico. Why else do you think Mexicans fight in the U.S? They don't even do PPV over there. They get fights for free. They'd do PPV over there if they had so much money. But they don't.
It's a known fact Wilder has been ducking Whyte for years. The evidence has piled up. You must not know anything of much about the sport if you haven't seen all the evidence to prove you wrong.Comment

Dude...the bulk of money coming in for fighters, or any sportsman, is from TV...for example, Canelo is the biggest star because Mexicans, in large numbers, want to watch him fight.Nothing weird about the post. Man no offense but I don't really think you keep it real enough to have a convo with on here, and you are way too emotional...and not to mention that I just don't really care enough on this topic to say any more than I've said...it's all there for you, no need to repeat myself...read my previous posts, basically anything I would have wanted to say is probably in there.Comment

All I did was make 1 obvious statement of fact in that post you quoted lol...and then just said I don't care to talk to that fella (and maybe that is your alt, idk) because it is not an issue I really care about, he is really emotional about it, and I already answered anything he asked and said what I had to say on it.Dude...the bulk of money coming in for fighters, or any sportsman, is from TV...for example, Canelo is the biggest star because Mexicans, in large numbers, want to watch him fight.

Or maybe you are another UK guy who took offense to me saying some UK guys are overrated...anyone who took any offense to any of my comments is probably a guy with not much self-esteem...that isn't my issue at all my friend.
We should all laugh at ourselves occasionally and when warranted as well...good advice there...brilliant detailed rebuttal btw from you on what you specifically disagree with that I said...usually you're a better poster than that, I thought you were pretty good really...maybe you're just having a bad day...have a good one though bud!Comment

Lets be fair, no-one (other than those involved) will ever know what really happened with the Wilder/Joshua negotiations. No way that either camp will concede that they didn't want the fight so its all about fan perspective.
All I know is that Wilder hadn't fought anyone considered top 5 until Ortiz 1 and even then its not unanimous. Then he was publicly embarrassed by Finkel with the Wlad fight so there is evidence to show that Wilder ducked a fight. That's what confirmed my opinion that they didn't want the Joshua fight. They took the punt on Fury and it paid off short-term and backfired in the long run.
Plus we all know that the Fury's LOVE to talk. Anything to get a headline out. Fury is just flavour of the month - just as he was after the Wlad fight.Comment
