    Wilder deserves more respect.

He was on the fight the first three rounds, although he was clearly losing the third round, the 1st and 2nd were pretty close and I have no problem with someone scoring the 2nd one for Wilder. He landed like three good right hands.

Unfortunately, third round he tries to avoid a punch and it hits him appearently on the back of his head. Such bad luck for him because it was a very heavy punch. Tyson didn't do anything wrong there. In fact, on the first fight, the first KD was also a punch to the back of the head of fury, and it wasn't wilder fault, tyson put his head in that position. **** happens.

Now seconds after that... he ate another big right hand and the fight was basically over.

If you pay attention to the first and second round, Wilder was moving strangely. Like one of his legs (left one maybe) wasn't working correctly.

And Tyson was a bit dirty there... how many headlocks? at first I thought the point deduction wasn't ok but then I rewatched the fight and it was ok.

Any way... the right man won but let's not disrespect Wilder like that.

I understand he got "lucky" with judges the first fight, and he was also protected in the seventh round against Ortiz in the first fight. But still, he's a clean fighter. He lost, but that's it.

I hope he recovers and does well again, before retiring.

He doesn't deserve disrespect for losing.

He deserves it for the pathetic list of excuses he has made after losing.

Yeah, most fighters usually deserve more respect around here. This place is especially hard on them after they've taken their first loss.

Keep in mind, most of these pussies have never been in a fight in their entire lives....

Really depends doesn't it. Its not if you lose, its how you lose.

Wilders done himself no favours after taking his L.

I also think you are being a little generous with the early rounds, about the best I could say was second round was somewhat competitive, for a unification and supposedly the #1 & 2 fighters in the division thats not saying much.

Wilder also said some pretty dark stuff in the build up, I understand its promoting a fight, but still you do that and get battered, it isn't a good look.

So overall, obviously give him credit for being a warrior, yes.
For how he fought, no. For the reaction after, no.

I was way off like many on my prediction but have to give it up to Tyson fury he shut my mouth. All the glory and all the respect to Tyson and team fury excellent fight and excellent fight plan execution that was remarkable. With that being said, I respect wilder a lot for the way he kept tying to stay in the fight, I mean the man got his ass beat the whole fight and He kept trying so I respect him on that. He couldn’t recover from the first shot thy knocked him down kinda like AJ bs Ruiz 1. It’s hard to see wilder pull off the rematch however, I think fury has his number unless wilder all of a sudden improves drastically which is a stretch to say the least for a power puncher in his mid 30’s

I respected his heart until he made all these excuses. Well, i still respect that he didn’t quit when others would have, but still. The excuses just take away from what he should be praised for.

Really, he was never in the fight. And how did a shot to the back of the head mess his ear up? It was a shot to the side of the head, then the glove slipped round the back as Wilder was already about to go down.

He looked like he had seen a ghost as soon as he took a flush jab from Fury in the first round. He knew he was in with a different man this time and someone with real intentions.

Wilder got killed and his corner saved him from permanent damage. He refuses to see that, and continues to spout out ridiculous narratives about why he lost. A heavy costume? A wrecked leg? Corner threw in the towel early? If he took it like a man maybe he would get some sympathy. Bottom line is he got his ass whooped.

The respect I had for him went out of the window with all these excuses, he is basically trying to take everything away from Fury.... Think about that for a second.
