That’s the Fu_king problem right there
If I’m your second in the corner, do your dam job and I won’t have to do what’s best for your a_s. If I were Breland I would need a bonus to work with yo a_s again!
Don’t put that on Anthony Dirrell because he knows what it’s like to get an as_ whipping too!Comment

I do find it a bit odd that the *assistant* trainer threw in the towel - and not the HEAD trainer.
If Breland were so adamant about stopping the fight then he should have made the chief second throw in the towel. I don't ever remember a fight getting stopped where an assistant trainer throws in the towel.
And what is the story with Dirrell yelling to people in Wilder's corner?Comment

Breland saved that man’s life! Wilder is starting to make me look at him in a different light. He was getting beat up! He could no longer defend himself and was doing nothing offensively! This man has children! He has a beautiful fiancé! Breland was once a fighter himself! Not his head trainer! Breland understood the situation Wilder was in. Have u ever heard the manner in which Breland speaks??? He has taken too many Head shots himself throughout his fighting career. Why would he want his fighter to end up like him or even worse??? He did the right thing. Wilder is being delusional. At the point of the stoppage, there was no way he could win that fight.Comment

Wilder is a warrior and the way he's actually reacting now should probably be commended. He genuinely didn't want that fight to be stopped, even though the odds were stacked against him and it seemed likely he'd just take more punishment, unable to land anything meaningful. He still believed there was a chance his power could bail him out again and he was prepared to go through the fire to find out.
Breland did the right thing in this situation. Wilder still has a shot to get his title back with that rematch clause, and he didn't end up taking another 5 rounds of unnecessary punishment this time.Comment

But why not? I've seen fighters gas and lose after showing off before fights - doing press-ups etc. Why do you think Fury wasn't dancing around much in his Apollo Creed entrance for the Tommy Swiss fight?
Add to that Wilder did look like he had no legs and was slow. Wilder never gases. I'm not sure if you have watched his previous fights?
I guarantee you won't see that Wilder in the 3rd fightComment
