As a Wilder that rooted for him to win excuses are just that. He was too timid he needed to stand his ground and realize the tactic he used against Ortiz in the rematch won't work on Fury. He was the aggressor in the first Fury fight so standing his ground would be the best thing to do. Stiff jabs and left hooks would've been key to opening up the right hand. He landed 2 significant punches in the fight that caught Furys attention and both were because of the left hand. Fact is the better man won the fight. It's up to him to suck it up and make a fight out of the 3rd one cause the second was a slaughter.

although i did think that the stoppage was a bit early, but i dont see the fight going any other way. if the ref didnt stop the fight, wilder was on his way to getting knocked out anyways.

when the fight was stopped, look at wilder's eyes, it was rolling for a quick second before we realized that the fight has been stopped.
