    Marinating gone wrong

Ever since may-pac,the goal of most promotors has been to delay big fights in order to raise public interest, and try to generate more revenue. More times than not, they push the fights past their expiration dates, and what we get are mere shells of what the fights could have been. In some cases,we don't get the fight at all. For the past couple of years, Wilder vs Joshua was the fight to make. Sadly, egos and greed got in the way,and in the span of less than 9 months, both Wilder and Joshua got stopped in 7 rounds. Now the fight that looks to be on the horizon is fury vs joshua. I'm sure that joshua-wilder can still be made eventually, but it will be nowhere near as big as it could have been, considering that the two no longer are perceived as these unstoppable wrecking balls. Maybe promotors will learn from this and finally give fans the fights that they deserve, without years having to go by.

Honestly. I think they’d bank more money if they have it when it’s mean’t to happen because a bigger rematch is a likely result. Elite guys rarely just wipe each other out. If Pacquiao-Mayweather fought in 09/10, I think a rematch would have taken place Eventually.

I think Wilder AJ is a bigger fight now than it was. Both fighters show a certain vulnerability and its who will come out victorious now considering the vulnerabilities. I still think all of the big 3 need to fight each other to determine who the best is. Even in defeat Wilder could say the best are at least fighting the best and that's how it should be

I doubt it will happen that way very often. Instead of Fury vs AJ we will get Fury vs Wilder 3 in spite of Fury crushing Wilder so completely that a rematch is totally uncalled for. The only one who wants that fight is team Wilder. I doubt Wilder fans want to see him take another beating.

but delaying Wilder Fury 2 was marinading done right. Fox and ESPN gave this fight si much attention I’m sure it did more than double the numbers it would have done last May.

It made a lot of PPVs but if Pacquiao hadn’t lost to Bradley or Marquez the Mayweather fight would have been twice as big.
