Fury vs AJ....Who is the A side?!

I honestly can’t see this fight getting made even if wilder doesn’t take the rematch and Pulev agrees to step aside.

They both won’t be able to agree on who is the A side, whose name comes first on the poster, who makes their ringwalk last etc.

I most definitely can’t see Eddie and AJ agreeing to being the B side, fury might just do it just for the sake of making the fight but warren won’t be having none of it, he’s already said in an interview it should be 60-40 in Fury’s favour.

So, who is the A side now??

      50-50.

Fury is bigger in the USA, but it remains to be seen what he can draw in the USA without being up against a US champion, having two networks pushing it and the controversy of fight 1. AJ is commercially bigger everywhere else.

Bare in mind Warren turned down 60-40 in favour of AJ even back when it looked like Fury was done-for at the top level. He felt it was 50-50 back then. There's no way in hell Fury accepts being the B side. It's either even split or AJ will give Fury the slight nod in %.

I have no idea how DZ vs ESPN will impact on the split though.

The Brits will let us know. It's their division now.....I just realized how often I'm going to listen to that bootlicking subservient anthem of theirs.....ew...Y'all really should get a new one. You know, an anthem that reflects the people not some crotchety old hag who's German anyway.

Old fish eyes needs to stfu and let the fight happen and stop trying to price Fury out already.

50/50 is fair. And as long as that is the case nobody should care who gets the attention in the build up.

The fights going to come down to distribution in the US. Same as it always does when you have multiple networks. And Arum already said he’s not interested in doing any kind of joint distribution with DAZN. He feels they don’t bring anything to the table marketing wise. Not like Fox.

I think 50/50 is just about fair as long as Fury is introduced to the fight as the champion.

Both fighters promoters have said they would accept 50/50 so I think it actually comes down to the details such as referee , ring size, who walks second, who’s name is in the poster first .

These things tend to matter a lot more than you think!!

For me Joshua still will make more money and therefore is bigger draw but let’s be honest - for this fight , both would get such a bigger benefit that it’s practically irrelevant.

Sky sports should be nailed on. Interesting how it might work in America though? I can see the fight being in Saudi as they can still maximise uk buys ( maybe get over 2 mil?) given the timezone works
