I think he was likely concussed from the 2nd round. All of his stamina seemed to leave him, he looked exhausted. It was so similar to AJ when he was hurt the first time, he seems to immediately gas. I guess it's just a side effect of being huge and pumped

Shelley Finkel confirmed there was NO DAMAGE to Wilder's eardrum. He was not taken to the hospital after the fight. It was only a cut.

He had an earpiece with his coaches telling him when to punch. It cut his ear. After the cut happened and earpiece removed he didn't know when to throw so just stood and took a beating.
