    The first round is arguable

Wilder did land two right hands, and Fury’s jab was probably his biggest contribution

It’s bad judging, but I could see how some would score the first for Wilder

The 2nd round, I dunno. Wilder didn’t land anything of note, and Fury dominated the pace, and the action

Only watched it once, but I recall thinking Wilder was winning the second and fury threw a late flurry at the end of the round. Rounds like that always seem to split among judges.

I gave Wilder round 2. His body punches landed solid every time he threw and he caught Fury with an overhand. That was the only round I gave him.

Yeah that was the round where wilder landed all of his power shots, wasn’t it? (Jabs to the body)

Yep. He landed over hands in round 1, 2 and 3. But Fury was way busier and stronger in 1 and 3, I see no situation where I would give 1 or 3 to Wilder.

I’ll have to rewatch the fight but I’m fairly sure that Wilder lost every round. People saying otherwise sounds like the last gasp of some dying fanboys reaching for a small victory.

I was at a sports bar with four people at our table and we all gave the second to Wilder.

Went back and watched it again today and he landed like 5 right hands as well as some jabs (head and body) and Fury had like one decent punch at the end (the rest on arms and gloves).

I still think Wilder won it. It was close enough to argue either way but he seemed to edge it. I don’t see how it’s corrupt or controversial.

Did you read my comment about it? Means nothing if it was 6-1 for Fury in a 7 round fight where Wilder was totally dominated and stopped.

It shows intent. If a car crashes and you find a murder kit in the trunk and a date on the guys phone to go meet some girl, you don’t say “what’s it matter that he had a murder kit? No harm, no foul. Irrelevant”. It’s very relevant. You got to get that guy off the streets.

                      Round 2 is subjective.

If you don't care about body work - then yes, Wilder lost that round.

But if you watch that round and score it like you're supposed to, you'll see clearly that Wilder got off enough to make a case for winning.

We're not talking a "clearly won" situation. Like I said, if you don't care about body work, he lost.
