No, thankfully his corner quit for him to save him from permanent damage. Also, he never had Fury in trouble or knocked down this fight. Fury now has his number and the next fight will be even worse

I wanted Fury to win but I still like Wilder as a fighter and person. I thought he showed a lot of heart last night, a burst eardrum would be painful as f***, and he was humble in defeat.

We’ve always knew Wilder’s flaws but it took a great HW in Fury to truly exploit them.

He’s not a guy I know too much about aside from what I’ve seen on TV, but he’s always come across as a family man to me. He’s brash and definitely has an ego which I’m not a fan of but that always seemed more of an act to sell fights IMO. Maybe you’ve seen stuff I haven’t but he’s never really came across as that bad a guy to me.

For a essentially a one trick pony, I thing he’s achieved quite a lot. I expected Fury to beat him purely cause I thought he’d outbox him but the way he walked him down and ostensibly battered him into submission was incredibly impressive.
