This isn’t a criticism of the referee but there are different types.

This one allowed a bit of dirty behaviour close up which suited fury down to the ground. He has done that before, I believe I even saw him referee previous fury fights?

If I was in wilders camp I would’ve been doing my research and making sure that type of referee was not picked.

People talk about USA vs uk fighters and this night actually be an occasion the uk ref helps wilder - would be better rematching in the uk?

Also I think Joshua against fury would potentially have the same question, although the one thing AJ does have is the close upper cut which might have more potential in a similar situation
Bayless allowed fury to put Wilder in a chokehold and hit him multiple times. He finally took a point, I don't know what specifically it was for I kinda zoned out for a moment when that happened.

Bayless also allowed Fury to go to the closest neutral corner during one of the knockdowns...very odd. With that said, he seemed to be giving Wilder every chance to keep going, pushing Fury back multiple times before allowing action to continue. Not a great night for him IMO. I don't think it affected the outcome though, Wilder was done after round 2 cuz his ear was destroyed and he had no balance. Itt should've been stopped in round 5 IMO.

I recall you poking fun at me when AJ lost...... hope last night was as sweet a viewing for you as it was for me

You’re joking right though? This is the one who saved Wilder’s @ss from an early ko when he was out on his feet by buying wilder time. He also took a point away from fury when wilder was the one hitting on the break. He also didn’t warn or take a point away from soft @ss wilder from holding excessively. I swear you wilder fan boys are hilarious. I guarantee we can find a previous comment sucking wilder off. Your referee that wilder picked I may say, saved him from an even earlier knockout.

If he comes back gets a knock down (which is possible despite what everyone says immediately after a result) then it changes everything.

The problem is that many argue he lost the first fight too, so losing a third would destroy him and potentially end a fight with Joshua?

The alternative might be to go for good but not too end heavyweights such as a Povetkin or Takam and try and earn his place back to fight Joshua?

If I was him I would avoid Parker, Ruiz and Whyte - they are all risky now and if he were to lose to any then his career is all but over !
The AJ fight is gone. The only way Wilder gets AJ is rematch Fury, KO him. The way Wilder performed, he has no chance.

We could get a scenario where Wilder's injury means he can't trigger his immediate rematch but he offers to step aside for the Fury AJ fight to happen and gets a shot at the winner whilst also having a chance to drop another bum to get some confidence in the mean time.

If he takes the rematch straight up he is basically cashing out because it will be another beat down.

Interestingly enough, I don’t even know who you are. I must have left quite an impression though. And by the way, I picked Fury on points...

Wilder has a good chin, heart and crazy power. He isn't done and is still highly dangerous. Fury is just that good and outclassed Wilder, nothing to be ashamed of. Deep down those Wilder fans knew Fury's greatness.

I didn't know who you were either but you made an effort to leave a condescending post for some reason, then I start seeing stuff like Hearn KKKlan and other race card peddling posts ....... My take is you're probably one of these Wilder fanatics that thinks anyone who has a modicum of positivity about AJ has to be a fan boy of Hearn/Matchroom or something.
