Yeah, nothing wrong with him avoiding the public and dealing with the reality of how badly he got manhandled like a teenager against a full grown man.

You can tell by how he talked about things like being able to beat 86 Tyson that he was starting to becoming disturbingly deluded about himself.

Wilder doesn't even beat the McBride Tyson...can't fight backwards low punch resistance and doesn't know how to grab, resorts to bending down to avoid a clinch fight, which got him clipped behind the head and placed in guillotines time after time...Fury scouted that boy down to the tee, legend...
