Eddie Hearn take heed. This is what happens when you give the Fans a compelling fight. Only idiots show up for the fighter and a certain win. The masses show up for the sports compelling match ups. PBC and Top Rank leading the way!!!

What a gate number! $16.9M, 7th highest all time in Nevada. Good for them. Hopefully we get to see it one more time in the summer/fall.

Wilder landed solidly 2x early on. Fury didn't even flinch.

This fight week it just felt big. I rip in to wilder plenty but thats mainly for the crappy resume and lack of big fights. This was a big fight and I'm happy it looks like it's going to do really well.

I was feeling the buzz big time. This is what I've always said regarding wilder, he wants to be a super star? The fans were waiting for the big fights, that's what you need to catch the fans.

Just a shame he fkked it all up by losing badly in a very 1 sided fight.

Thats surprising. I guess all the promotion for this fight was worth it. Overall the fight delivered and i think people would be interested if wilder exercises his rematch clause

You need to factor in inflation. being off by 100k makes the older event more successful.

                  Lol. Good point.
Hearn/AJ be terrified after that performance from Fury.

No way AJ taking those heavy Fury shots. AJ couldnt even handle shots from the feather fisted mexican blob. imagine what a full size heavyweight that can move does to him.

Would that be the Mexican blob with more KOs on his record than Fury?

Maybe AJ would just deal with Fury in the same way that Zack Pge did, or Francesco Pianeta, or even Otto Wallin?

Only one thing is for sure... the money that fight generates, for every title, along with the obligatory rematches, is enough for both fighters to retire happy, both financially and in knowing they fought the best of their era in their prime... so i highly doubt either of them would be scared to take it.

Trying to think about Wilder without a belt. Where's all the myth of that right hand?; being perfect for two seconds... ; and all the crap talk... I am not sure he can recover from that beating within the next 4 months.... No need for the trilogy because the fight will end the same way. Fury is a real bully. He said it, he did it. He's legit.
